We are excited that you have taken a moment in time to visit our website. Pleasant Green is a place where friends are, we feel that the church should be a real place, a place that is warm and relevant to the lives of real people in normal everyday situations.
If you are searching for answers to some of life's most challenging questions, we believe that Pleasant Green has those answers for you. It is our desire that your search will lead you to the discovery of God's unconditional love for you.
We believe your enlightenment begins with the acceptance and belief in His Son Christ Jesus who suffered the wrath of a Holy God against sin, in order that we might be forgiven.
Our prayer is that you have experienced this great truth in your life. Pleasant Green is a place where everybody is somebody, no matter where you are in life. When you are in the Sulphur area, it would be our joy and delight to have you join us for worship.
Our Purpose Statement
To bring people to Jesus and membership in his family, develop them to Christlike maturity, and equip them for ministry in the church and mission in the world, in order to honor and glorify God's name.

Here at PGBC, we love to have a great time in the Lord and in fellowship with one another in a way that is fresh and relevant to today’s needs, but we still love to take it to the barnyard from time to time!!
Ministry Growth
The Saints of God, by the influence of the Holy Spirit, are serving the Lord in a number of different ways here at Pleasant Green. With new ministries being established and established ministries growing and maturing in our gifts and in our faith, we aim to serve the Lord for generations to come.
